How it works

  2. 02Check that the export is listed as unencrypted.
  3. 03Export the unlocked copy.

This is not a password recovery tool

The document has to open first, which means you need the password already. There is no cracking, no brute force, and no way around that — if you have lost the password, this cannot help.

Questions

Can you remove a password I do not know?
No. That is not a limitation we have chosen to work around; it is the point of the password.
Does this remove restrictions as well as the password?
Yes. The exported copy carries no encryption and no permission flags.
