How it works
- 01Open the PDF.
- 02Choose how to split: up to a page, the first N pages, or a custom range.
- 03Check the preview — hidden pages stay visible in the rail, greyed out.
- 04Export the part you kept.
Nothing is destroyed while you decide
Pages you split away are hidden, not deleted. They remain in the rail so you can bring them back with one click, and undo works across every change in the session.
Page numbers mean what you see
Ranges refer to the document as you opened it, so "4-8" keeps meaning the same pages even after you have experimented with other splits.
Questions
- Can I export every part at once?
- Not yet. The editor works on one document at a time, so today you export each part in turn. Batch export across many files is planned as a Pro feature.
- Does splitting reduce quality?
- No. The pages you keep are copied through unchanged.
