How it works

There is no separate merge step

Opening a second file is the merge. Every document you open joins one working set, so you can interleave pages from three files as easily as appending one to another — and reorder across all of them in a single view.

Order changes are instant

Reordering never re-renders a page. Page images are cached against the source document, so dragging a page moves a thumbnail rather than redrawing it, however large the files are.

Combine other edits in the same session

Because everything happens in one editor, you can merge, then add page numbers across the whole result, then protect it — and export once. Most tools make you download and re-upload between each of those.

Questions

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can combine?
No. There is no file count or size cap, because there is no server to pay for. The practical ceiling is your device memory, and you will get a clear warning before anything is attempted that will not fit.
Do the merged pages keep their original quality?
Yes. Pages are copied across intact — nothing is re-encoded or re-compressed unless you explicitly ask for compression.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Yes, provided you can open it. Enter its password when the file is opened and it joins the set like any other.
